Social media has been abuzz with all things NBA all-star game this weekend, and fans were quick to react to Sunday’s pre-game national anthems.
Nelly Furtado took to the court and performed a rendition of “O Canada” featuring a live accompaniment by Indigenous North American flutist Tony Duncan.
The “Promiscuous Girl” singer brought down the tempo and delivered a mellow-sounding melody line that didn’t quite hit the high notes.
But Furtado’s version of the national anthem definitely struck a chord with fans. What did you think?
