Hyderabad: The ruling TDP is all set to admit four more YSRCP MLAs before the conclusion of the ongoing budget session of the state assembly . According to senior TDP leaders, who are engaged in talks with some of the YSRCP legislators, the ruling party has decided to admit four more YSRCP MLAs. AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked TDP leaders from districts to meet him on Wednesday and Thursday to decide the date of joining of these MLAs.
Transport minister Sidda Raghava Rao, Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh and Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy have been asked to negotiate with `unhappy’ MLAs in the YSRCP .Though the TDP had planned to admit 10 more MLAs before the end of the budget session, they could finally rope in only four.
“About 10 MLAs from YSRC are in touch with us. All of them wanted to join the party , but our party president and chief minister should give the final nod. This will be done after holding consultation with district leaders. We are confident more MLAs of the YSRCP will join the TDP before the conclusion of the budget session,“ Ramesh told TOI. Sources in the party said YSRCP MLAs from Prakasam, East Godavari, Kurnool and Anantapur are in touch with the TD leadership.
